·Design & Engineering
We have the equipment and the experience to develop a mold design that is most suited to your product. Our Design Department will take your idea from part design to mold completion.
·Mold Making
Our mold shop has a reputation for tools that will meet or exceed your specified SPI class standard (From Class 104 to 101), with exact tolerances for full interchangeability of cavity and core components. We are experienced in Hot Runner Systems, Two and three plate molds, insert molding, and unscrewing molds. We are also equipped to do EDM thread tapping, EDM tap removal and electrode manufacturing.
·Production
Anderson Moulds maintains a fully equipped molding facility with a mold capacity of 55 ton (4.4 ounce) to 350 ton (32 ounce). Conformance to any specified tolerance is maintained through the use of computer process control, at the press quality checks, and molding machine monitoring. A complement of off-line equipment from mold heaters, chillers, and drying equipment are used to attain any process needed to produce your particular product.
·Assembly and Secondary Operations
Our production floor is also equipped for any secondary operations including but not limited to milling, sonic welding, inserts, and bagging. Our engineering department can also manufacture any necessary custom fixtures or automated assembly systems.
·Quality Control
As a custom molder each product is evaluated and a specific testing procedure is determined. These include but are not limited to; hourly moisture content analyzing, process monitoring, statistical monitoring, custom manufactured testing devices (i.e. go-no-go devices), material lot logs. In addition all equipment and molds follow a strict maintenance schedule to insure long tool life.
